True beauty goes beyond the physical traits. We, at Village Pipol, are grateful for the voices who joined us in demanding for equal rights among the LGBT community via our ‘I Am’ campaign.

These past few days have been especially difficult for the gay community as they continue their plight against discrimination and violence. This year’s Pride month might be different and more challenging than the others, we all in our own ways can contribute to their fight.

Philippine beauty queens have also joined in using their platform to raise awareness and promote proper representations among their sphere of influence, each using one word that describes their truth.
