Huawei’s Petal Search Helps Users Find Their Favorite Apps
It’s now easier for you to get your favorite apps as Petal Search arrives to the HUAWEI AppGallery!
Huawei’s AppGallery is now the third largest app store in the world with a growing number of over 45, 000 apps and 400 million monthly active users. While it has most of the top apps Filipinos love like TikTok, Lazada, and Viber, some of the more popular apps like Facebook and Instagram are yet to be available.
While waiting for developers to bring their apps to the AppGallery, Huawei offers a solution that would make it easier for users to find their favorite apps — through Petal Search.
Petal Search is an app search engine that gives Huawei users access to thousands of apps from third party stores. These include Aptoide, APKMonk, APKPure, APKCenter, UpToDown and Huawei AppGallery. You will no longer require multiple app stores installed on your phone to get an app you like. Petal Search will collect APK/XAPK files from these app stores and redirect you to the download page so you can install it on your phone.
Petal Search can also detect whenever an update is available for an app you already have. Just go to Me > Downloads > Updates.
The Petal Search app and widget arrived on my Huawei P40 Pro through a software update (10.1.0.134). Huawei users can also install Petal Search from the AppGallery.
