Huawei MateBook D 14 arrived in the Philippines, price starts at PHP 39, 990!

Since the lockdown, more people are now seeing the benefits of owning a personal laptop at home. Whether it’s for work, business, studies, or even for entertainment, there are a lot of options to choose from. One of them is the latest release from Huawei, the MateBook D14.

MateBook D14 sports an immersive display and large battery capacity

Huawei MateBook D14 seems to be a smaller yet more capable version of the MateBook D 15. This laptop uses the same aluminum metal body with a smaller 14-inch FHD+ screen. Its display also features 84 percent screen-to-body ratio, 178-degree viewing angle, 250 nits brightness, and a tiny 4.8mm bezel. The company created the slim bezels by hiding the Privacy recessed camera on the keyboard. Meanwhile, the TÜV Rheinland certification means users enjoy a more comfortable and safer viewing experience. It somehow reduces eye-impairing blue light.

Inside, the MateBook D14 is powered by either AMD Ryzen 5 or the more powerful Ryzen 7 chip. It also has 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and a larger 56WHr battery. Huawei claims you can enjoy watching 1080p videos for 9.5 hours, with its battery capacity. There’s also a small USB-C 65W Switching Power Adaptor that you can use to charge the device to 46 percent in just 30 minutes.

For performance checking, this laptop is built with a Shark Fin 2.0 fan design. Allegedly, this can effectively optimize airflow and dissipate heat rapidly and quietly. The device also has a fingerprint reader/power button, backlit keyboard, and Windows 10 Home OS.
