Darren Espanto has something great up his sleeve for his 19th birthday

He might be far away from all his fans in the Philippines, singer Darren Espanto won’t let this get in the way of bringing smiles to the audience, especially in a trying time like this.

Darren is set to celebrate his upcoming 19th birthday with a fun-filled and entertaining online concert which will be live streamed on Facebook.

Aside from the exciting performances he have prepared, Darren also invited a powerhouse set of guests from the music industry, including Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and the talented Moira dela Torre.

The young superstar’s “D’ Birthday Concert from Home” will benefit the ‘Lingkod Kapamilya-Pantawid ng Pag-ibig’ relief operations.

‘Still hopeful’

In an exclusive interview with Village Pipol, Darren bared his birthday wish and message to all the Filipinos faced with this pandemic.

He shares, “My birthday wish for myself is good health and more projects. My wish for everyone and for the world is PEACE and an END to this crisis. How I really wish that soon, this will be over.”

Darren believes that the role of an artist in this crisis is very important because of the VAST REACH that they have through their social media accounts. Moreover, the responsible and truthful sharing of information with their followers can simply save a life and help protect.

His message of hope? “My message to all our Kababayans who are greatly affected by this is to stay strong and to keep the faith. Please never lose hope. Like the rest of the calamities and circumstances that we’ve been through, this too shall pass.”

Currently, like any other artist, he is still quite unsure of what’s ahead for their careers in the ‘new normal.’ But he sure looks forward to better days.
