The new ASUS Zenfone Max Plus (M1) is set to unveil here in the Philippine market on Sunday, January 14. This phone joins the bandwagon of having a taller display with the narrow screen, in short, the 18:9 aspect ratio. There are two main highlights that we should focus on. First, the battery has a solid 4,130 mAh capacity, a huge enough for a whole day use that provides 26 days of 4G LTE standby and up to 21 hours of wi-fi internet browsing. Second, the dual cameras at the back. The primary sensor has a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture to capture detailed images, while the second lens has an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, which is the best for group selfies and landscape shots.
For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel sensor with 85° wide-angle lens. Display-wise, the Max Plus (M1) features a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display with 2160 x 1080 resolution that is built with aluminum body and 2.5D curved glass. For security, the phone supports Face Unlock technology. There’s also a fingerprint scanner that unlocks the phone in just 0.3 seconds, is located at the back.
It runs on Android 7.0 “Nougat” with the company’s proprietary ZenUI 4.0. It uses the MT6750T chipset from MediaTek paired with Mali-T860, 32GB storage, and 3GB RAM. A dedicated microSD card is available that supports up to 256GB.
The ASUS Zenfone Max Plus (M1) is priced at P11,995 will be exclusively available at the launch event in The Atrium, SM Mall of Asia on Sunday. Luckily, for the first 200 buyers (register here first, 150 pre-registered and 50 walk-ins on a first come, first served basis), they’ll get a free ASUS Sports Jacket, ASUS JBL T450BT headphones, USB-OTG dongle, Max Plus (M1) clear case, and a Zenny Doll as a bundled package, worth P7,595!
